Exterior Wall Coatings & Painting in Lanarkshire
Tired, stained or cracked walls repaired, coated or painted – so the weather stays outside and the house looks new from the street.
Lanarkshire weather is hard on walls. Roughcast cracks, paint peels, render goes green, and water finds its way in. We do three things about it, and Martin will tell you which one your house needs. Exterior painting is the quickest and cheapest refresh. Wall coatings are a thicker, flexible, breathable finish that bridges hairline cracks and keeps rain out for fifteen years or more. Roughcast repairs fix the damage underneath before either goes on.
Every job starts with the wall cleaned properly – see render and roughcast cleaning – because a coating over algae or loose material fails within a year. We prep, repair, then finish.

FAQ's
Paint or coating – what’s the difference?
Paint is a thin decorative layer that lasts 5–8 years. A wall coating is 10–20 times thicker, flexible, and guaranteed for 15+ years.
Can you paint over roughcast?
Yes, with masonry paint or a coating. Loose chips are repaired first.
Do you need scaffolding?
Rarely for two-storey homes. If access needs it, it’s in the quote.
