Driveway & Patio Cleaning in Lanarkshire
Monoblock, tarmac, slabs and decking pressure washed, re-sanded and sealed. Back to how it looked when it was laid.
What we do
A monoblock driveway in Lanarkshire goes green and black within a few years – weeds in the joints, algae in the shade, oil where the car sits. Pressure washing brings the colour back in a day. We use a rotary surface cleaner rather than a hand lance, so the finish is even with no stripes, and we hand-lance the edges and corners.
Cleaning alone leaves the joints empty and the weeds come straight back. So after washing we re-sand the joints with kiln-dried sand, and if you want it to stay clean we seal it, which locks the sand in and makes the surface shed water and dirt for two to three years. The same goes for patios, paths, steps and decking – we clean, treat and, where it makes sense, seal.
Process
- Weed and treat the joints
- Pressure wash with a rotary cleaner, hand-lance edges
- Re-sand joints with kiln-dried sand
- Seal (optional) once fully dry
FAQ's
Do you need to re-sand after cleaning?
Yes, or the blocks move and weeds come back. It’s included in our price.
Is sealing worth it?
On monoblock, yes – it keeps the sand in and the surface clean for years. On tarmac and slabs it’s optional.
Can you get oil stains out?
Most, with a degreaser before washing. Old, deep stains lighten but may not vanish completely.
How long does it take?
Most driveways are done in a day. Sealing needs a dry day and 24 hours before you drive on it.
