What we do
A small roof fault becomes a big one fast in a Lanarkshire winter. Water gets under a cracked tile, freezes, and takes the next tile with it. We fix the fault while it’s still small: replacing broken or slipped tiles and slates, re-bedding or replacing ridge and verge tiles, converting old cement ridge to a dry ridge system so it never needs pointing again, resealing and replacing lead flashing round chimneys and walls, and dealing with storm damage.
We find a lot of this while we’re up cleaning roofs, and we’ll show you photos of exactly what’s wrong before we quote. We won’t tell you a roof needs replacing if it doesn’t – we don’t do re-roofs, so there’s no reason to.
